Nel seguito l’annuncio della Summer School su Informatics Education Research, che ho organizzato con Informatics Europe, col supporto di IBM Research Europe. Si tiene la prima settimana di settembre a Zurigo, dal 2 al 6, ed è un’occasione importante di formazione per dottorandi, post-doc e ricercatori interessati al tema della didattica dell’informatica, che sta diventando sempre più rilevante nel nostro settore. I docenti sono tutti ricercatori di altissima levatura scientifica nel loro settore.

The urgent need for investment in Informatics Education has been highlighted by the recent Recommendation of the Council of the EU. Being the first and only summer school in Informatics Education Research in Europe, SCHIER offers PhD students, postdocs, or researchers in informatics and related fields an immersion in cutting-edge research methods and theories necessary to be mastered to do research in Informatics Education. The School also aims at enlarging and consolidating a truly European community of researchers in this field. At SCHIER, participants can:
